ALS United CT Travels to Hartford for Rare Disease Day at State House

On February 25, Amy Chickles, Director of Programs at ALS United Connecticut, joined more than 50 members of the rare disease community for Rare Disease Day at the Connecticut State House. Patients, parents, doctors, nonprofit organizations, legislators, and others shared their experiences and discussed the challenges and needs of the broader rare disease community, including those affected by ALS.
