Mark your calendars and lace up your sneakers — the 4th Annual Dan the Man 5K for ALS is set for Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the beautiful Pistol Creek Trails in Berlin, CT. This meaningful community event brings together runners, walkers, families, and supporters to honor Dan’s legacy and raise critical funds for people living with ALS.
Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to run or walk the course. The race begins at 10:00 AM, with same-day registration opening at 9:00 AM for those who prefer to sign up on site. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit ALS United Connecticut, helping to fund essential patient services, equipment programs, and research efforts across the state.
Last year’s event raised $11,000 in support of ALS United Connecticut.
Free parking for the Dan the Man 5K is available, and the event is designed to be family-friendly, with pets on leashes and strollers welcome. Whether you’re running for a personal connection to ALS or simply looking to support a great cause, your presence makes a difference.
