ALS United CT’s Jacky Rose Named to Hartford Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty
ALS United Connecticut proudly announces that Executive Director Jacky Rose has been named one of the Hartford Business Journal’s 2025 40 Under Forty honorees. Presented by the Hoffman Auto Group, this prestigious award celebrates 40 of Connecticut’s most accomplished young professionals who exemplify leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement.
“This recognition wouldn’t be possible without the incredible team I work alongside every day at ALS United Connecticut,” said Rose. “Together, we are all constantly challenging ourselves- and each other- to make an impact on the quality of life for everyone affected by ALS, until the day we can end this disease. Thank you to my team, Board of Directors, family, and friends for supporting me every step of the way!”
Rose, who has served as Executive Director since 2021, has played a transformative role in expanding services and strengthening support for individuals and families affected by ALS across the state. Under her leadership, ALS United CT has significantly grown its impact, enhanced partnerships with local clinics, and advanced advocacy efforts to push for increased research funding and improved access to care. Rose championed a bold organizational restructuring and also, alongside 14 other dedicated organizations, helped launch ALS United.
“Young professionals play a pivotal role in that equation,” states the Hartford Business Journal. “While the state continues to face headwinds in holding onto recent college graduates, many dynamic, early-career leaders are choosing to build their futures here — and are making meaningful contributions to their companies and communities. It’s important to put a spotlight on them to show others that starting a business or launching and making a career here can pay dividends, both professionally and personally.”
The 40 Under Forty award recognizes professionals who are driven by success, motivated by challenges, and actively involved in making their communities stronger. Rose’s dedication to the ALS community and her role as a mentor and role model in the nonprofit sector make her a deserving recipient of this recognition. The honorees will be celebrated at a special event hosted by the Hartford Business Journal on September 11 at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville.
