ALS Caregivers believe that only someone who has battled ALS 24 hours a day, seven days a week, can truly understand the daily challenges caregivers and people living with ALS face.
ALSCaregivers.org enables everyone facing ALS to more quickly gain tangible and practical knowledge to overcome daily challenges by sharing firsthand “life-learned” experiences. Topics include: bathing, breathing, speaking, swallowing, toileting, mobility, upper and lower body weakness, helping caregivers, and so much more.
ALS Caregivers also has a few upcoming workshops. On October 18th from 1:30 to 5:30 pm, the “Overcoming Breathing & Swallowing Challenges” workshop will be held in St. Louis, MO. On Nov. 12th from 6 to 8 pm, the “Taking Care of the Caregiver” workshop will be held virtually over Zoom. To register for either of those two, or to see the 2025 workshops, visit ALScaregivers.org. All workshops are free for current ALS caregivers.
All ALS Caregivers’ workshops are opportunities to talk with caregivers who have experienced some of the challenges faced and have received practical suggestions.
