On Saturday, Sept. 27th, ALS United Connecticut hosted its highly attended Hartford Walk ALS event at Dunkin’ Park, home of the Hartford Yard Goats. The ALS community came together in record numbers to honor courage, lift each other up, and surround families and caregivers with hope and strength.
Executive Director Jacky Rose welcomed the crowd and reflected on the importance of the Walks in uniting the ALS community. Special remarks were also shared by U.S. Congressman John Larson, alongside representatives from the presenting sponsor, Hospital for Special Care, located in New Britain.
